Upgraded from F23

Today I've upgraded my Fedora Workstation.
It was my first upgrade from a previous release and all went fine and smooth.
Some simple dnf terminal commands, five to be exact:
  • sudo dnf upgrade --refresh
  • sudo dnf install dnf-plugin-system-upgrade -v
  • sudo dnf install http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-24.noarch.rpm http://download1.rpmfusion.org/nonfree/fedora/rpmfusion-nonfree-release-24.noarch.rpm
  • sudo dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=24
  • sudo dnf system-upgrade reboot
and after about fifteen minutes, the new system has upgraded to F24, preserving all previous settings.

Thank you all!

P.S.
I don't know, perhaps is the warm were I live (or cognac I drunk), but the new desktop seems having refresh problem.

  1. I followed the same upgrade path a few days ago. Since then I have seen 3 difference issues.

    1. (Gnome) - it now takes a long time for the power menu to show after hitting the power button in the menu. ( Only happens the first time, some sort of time out occurring.)

    2. constant "[drm:intel_pipe_update_start [i915]] *ERROR* Potential atomic update failure on pipe A "messages in the ring_buffer.

    3. I haven't seen a single update come through the system in 4 days. ( I've done dnf clean all && dnf update and still nothing.....)

The first two I have some ideas about. I'll look into them more this weekend. The 3rd, maybe 24 is just that good. :^)
